Thank-U-thon!

Being grateful never felt so good.

Thank-U-thon

STLF has so many wonderful supporters who make it possible. From the leaders and parents to the donors and housing contacts, it is the people involved who make STLF work. So we took some time to say thank you!

All last week folks gathered at the National Office to call, write, and email some of the people who have supported STLF in 2011. It wasn't until compiling the list of people to thank that I truly realized how many individuals work together to allow STLF to operate. We've got our service and housing contacts that give us things to do and places to sleep for every trip - and when you're going to 300+ cities every year that's a lot of contacts!

We have all our donors which has grown tremendously this year! STLF has never seen an outpouring of support like what we've seen this year from parents, alumni, community supporters, and students! Yes, students!

Board and committee members, staff, participants, alumni, parents, and donors all came together to contact more than 450 people and personally thank them for supporting our organization. Some folks came into to the office for a thanking party while others did some off-site thanking from different states!

We are really fortunate to have so many people involved in making STLF run and, even though we didn't make it through our entire list this go around, we definitely have more thanking up our sleeves!
